Custom OEM component enquiries cover aluminum and stainless steel casting, with vacuum investment, lost-wax and die casting routes selected for the material and geometry. Processing includes casting, deburring, drilling and threading. The customer's 3D drawing and client specification define the part size, while tolerances, surface treatment and color follow the agreed requirements.
Define the material and forming route
Identify the aluminum or stainless steel grade and provide the intended component geometry. Confirm which casting process applies to that particular material and design. Keeping the grade and forming route connected to the drawing gives the OEM enquiry a specific part definition and allows the required subsequent operations to be considered within the same scope.
Specify drilled, threaded and finished areas
Mark the edges, holes and threads requiring deburring, drilling or threading. Define the dimensional limits that control fit and function, together with the desired surface treatment and color. The client specification should relate these conditions to the relevant faces so the cast and processed component has a clear required state for assembly.
Agree inspection and component acceptance
The casting service includes strict 100% inspection, with the characteristics, methods and acceptance criteria to be defined for the drawing. ISO9001 certification is stated, with the relevant scope to be confirmed for the work. Connect the dimensional, surface and color requirements with the intended component function. This gives the OEM casting enquiry a basis for reviewing the finished part against its agreed specification.
