Non-standard brass sliders and mining seal-component castings are offered with corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant features. OEM/ODM customization covers size and color, while the processing route includes casting, machining when needed and surface treatment. The inquiry can therefore be built around the particular machinery component and its required delivered condition.
Slider or seal-component geometry
Identify whether the requested casting is a slider or a component within the sealing arrangement, then define the required geometry. Custom sizing should be connected to the mating dimensions and the place the part occupies in the machinery. This keeps the precision-casting discussion focused on the actual component without assuming a complete seal assembly or a universal machine fit.
Resistance matched to the duty
Corrosion resistance and wear resistance are product features to consider in the mining application. Explain the operating conditions and the acceptance needed for the selected part, including any quantified wear, exposure or sealing requirement. The material grade and surface condition can then be reviewed against the intended duty without turning those ordinary features into an assumed service-life or pressure rating.
0.01 mm and the DIN requirement
The tolerance value is 0.01 mm, with DIN as a standard reference. Identify the applicable DIN specification and define the relevant drawing features, tolerance convention and inspection criteria. Machining remains dependent on need, so the drawing should also identify which areas require work before the requested surface treatment and customized color are agreed.
- Component definition
- Brass grade, slider or seal geometry and mating dimensions.
- Delivered condition
- Required size, surface treatment and color.
- Application acceptance
- Relevant DIN, dimensional and operating-duty criteria for the machinery part.
These details give the OEM inquiry a specific component and acceptance basis. They preserve the available customization while keeping the wear and corrosion discussion attached to the intended mining duty.
