Medium-temperature solid adhesive casting wax is an investment material for gold, silver and precious-metal jewelry casting. It is fully refined with a high-luster direction. Semi-pellets and blocks are supply forms, with OEM and ODM customization available for the request.
Wax form and jewelry-process selection
Choose the form around the actual wax handling and investment-casting process. Define the jewelry application and the condition required from the material. Agree the industrial grade and the criteria behind a highest-grade request for that process. Connect the selected form with the batch and material acceptance requirements.
Viscosity and penetration references
The IP71 viscosity reference is 500–700cps at 100 temperature. The IP49 penetration reference is 1.5–2.5 at 25 temperature. Confirm the temperature scales, penetration unit and test procedures used for the material. Agree the accepted results under those conditions for the intended wax process.
Melting and drop-melting conditions
The melting-point reference is 65–75. The IP371 drop-melting reference is also 65–75 temperature. Confirm the temperature scale and procedure for each requirement, then agree the applicable batch acceptance. Keep those conditions with the selected wax form and jewelry-process needs.
- Material request
- Identify the jewelry use, selected form and industrial-grade criteria.
- Test acceptance
- Agree the viscosity, penetration and melting requirements together with their units and test conditions.
