Custom precision casting directions include steel, ductile iron, aluminum and zinc alloy, using investment or sand casting with machining when needed. CNC work is available within the selected manufacturing scope. Powder coating, painting and anodizing are surface directions to choose for the actual material and required component condition.
Investment or sand casting for the selected metal
Define the actual alloy or iron designation and the casting geometry required for the part. Agree which route fits that component and the areas needing subsequent machining. Identify the controlled dimensions and finished interfaces for the intended duty. This establishes the supplied casting and the CNC work required within its specific manufacturing definition.
Other casting and tooling objects
Material directions also include iron, zamac, copper, brass, stainless steel and magnesium. Inquiries cover die/gravity casting and valve-related parts, punching/cold-runner steel/ABS/PP molds, extrusion/preform and rubber/silicone injection-mold work. Identify the actual casting or tooling deliverable and agree its material and route, so the chosen process addresses one defined component requirement.
PDF/CAD and IGES/STEP geometry
The geometry inputs can be 2D PDF/CAD files or 3D IGES/STEP files. Use them to define the important dimensions, interfaces and areas requiring machining or surface work. Connect the actual geometry to the selected material and casting route, agreeing the dimensional acceptance needed to evaluate the finished component supplied for that task.
Material-appropriate coating and final condition
Select powder coating, painting or anodizing for the actual metal and required appearance. Define the treated surfaces and the visual and dimensional criteria after treatment. Agree how the finished areas and machined interfaces will be checked, relating that acceptance to the component's intended function and the investment, sand or other selected manufacturing scope.
