    Customer's Drawing Request

Custom sand and investment casting projects cover steel and aluminum as well as grey iron, ductile iron, stainless steel and copper. Casting can be combined with CNC turning, milling and 5-axis processing. Sizes and tolerances follow the customer's drawing, with the route and material selected for the actual component.

Review the material and casting route together

Identify the required grade within the chosen material family and the component geometry it must produce. Sand casting and investment casting should be reviewed as route choices for that part. Define the cast dimensions and the areas requiring later CNC work so the proposal addresses both the initial shape and finished acceptance.

Carry drawing dimensions through 5-axis processing

Turning, milling and 5-axis work are available within the CNC processing scope. Provide the relevant geometry in 2D PDF, CAD, DWG or DXF files, or in 3D IGES, STEP or VDA models. Mark the finished dimensions and tolerance requirements on the controlled drawing so the machining review uses a consistent reference.

Select the surface for the actual alloy

Surface choices include anodizing, powder coating, polishing and sandblasting. Match the selected treatment to the alloy and the surface's intended function, and identify where it applies. Agree the appearance and dimensional acceptance after finishing alongside the cast and machined requirements.

State the application and quality requirements

Application contexts include industry, automotive, agriculture, aviation, construction and electrical work. Define the component's duty and any required sector or part approvals specifically. The quality-system certification references are GB/T19001-2016 and ISO9001:2015; their scope should be considered separately from the component acceptance for the selected application.
