A custom stainless steel mounting plate bracket provides a casting enquiry for agricultural machinery, construction and industrial equipment projects. The route combines investment casting, machining and polishing, with SS304 or SS316 available on request. Material, dimensions and the required finished condition are agreed for the intended mounting arrangement.
Work from the mounting faces and hole pattern
Define the bracket contact faces, mounting holes and mating dimensions on the component drawing. Identify which surfaces require machining and how they relate to the installation references. This gives the casting and machining review a clear connection to the machine interface that the bracket must fit.
Apply CT 4–9 to the relevant casting dimensions
The casting tolerance range is CT 4–9, with the applicable class and dimensional basis to be agreed for the bracket. Distinguish casting tolerances from acceptance limits for machined faces or holes. A drawing that makes those requirements clear allows each dimension to be checked against the appropriate part condition.
Choose the grade and surface treatment
SS304 and SS316 are material choices for discussion against the installation environment and service requirements. Polishing, plating and powder coating are surface-treatment options available to customer request. Specify the selected treatment, required appearance and any contact surfaces needing particular attention, then include those conditions in the sample approval.
Review samples against the intended mounting duty
Quality control includes 100% inspection for samples, so define the sample checkpoints for the casting, machined interfaces and finish. Agree the production inspection requirements separately for the order. Include the fastening arrangement and intended loads in the engineering review, and confirm fit and load acceptance for the actual agricultural, construction or industrial machine before installation.
