MaterialStainless Steel
Custom electronics/furniture hardware spare-part directions use stainless-steel investment/lost-wax casting and CNC machining. Material references are 304, 316, 316L, 410 and 412. Size follows 2D drawings or 3D CAD geometry, with tolerances according to the drawing and polishing/passivation as surface-treatment directions for the selected component.
Selected stainless grade and component geometry
Choose the actual material designation and the hardware or spare component required for the intended use. Identify the important cast dimensions and CNC-machined interfaces for its geometry. Relate those requirements to the supplied condition, agreeing the actual material and drawing-controlled acceptance needed for the particular part.
CNC areas and polishing or passivation
Define the actual machining scope and the finished dimensions of its interfaces. Select the polishing or passivation work and identify the covered surfaces. Connect those requirements to the component material and geometry, agreeing the dimensional and finished-surface condition required after the chosen casting, machining and treatment operations.
Five input formats and three measurement methods
Drawing formats are PDF, STEP, STP, DWG and DXF, with CMM, caliper and micrometer inspection directions. Define the controlled dimensions and the actual measurement acceptance for the selected part. Relate the drawing requirements to those checks, establishing the supplied-component condition and inspection criteria needed for its finished interfaces and surfaces.
Hardware use and other component directions
Other uses include machinery, valve, pump and automotive components alongside electronics/furniture hardware work. Identify the actual component duty and geometry for the selected request. Connect its material, drawing tolerances, CNC areas and surface treatment to the dimensional and inspection acceptance required for that particular supplied part.
