Supplier TypeOEM/ODM Custom Manufacturing Factory with Design Support
General-industry custom investment casting uses lost wax processing with silica sol and medium-temperature wax. OEM and ODM manufacturing includes design and DFM review support, with in-house CNC machining, polishing and assembly as secondary services. Define the component and alloy before selecting the precision and process requirements.
Allocate precision by the component size
Precision scope covers CT5–CT12 and ±0.05–0.5mm by size. Assign the relevant casting and finished-feature requirements to the actual drawing dimensions rather than using the smallest figure for every component. The tolerance plan should identify which dimensions remain cast and which require the selected CNC finishing.
Connect surface condition and heat treatment
As-cast surface values are Ra 1.6–3.2 Micro, with the exact unit and evaluation basis to be agreed. Electro-polishing and polishing are available finishing services. Heat-treatment choices include quenching and tempering, normalizing and annealing; choose them for the selected alloy and required material condition, with the finished dimensions and surface acceptance defined together.
Match the application to its acceptance basis
Enquiries include pump impellers, valve bodies, marine hardware and food or medical components. Describe the actual part duty and the interfaces that determine its operation or assembly. For food-contact or medical-device projects, identify the applicable material, design and qualification requirements as part of that specific component enquiry.
Set testing and document deliverables
The chosen industrial part can be reviewed through CMM inspection, material spectral reports and PT/MT/NDT services. Material traceability through COC and PPAP support should have agreed document scope and acceptance stages. Where ISO9001 documentation is required, confirm the current certificate and its applicable scope alongside the inspection plan and selected component requirements.
