Custom hinge-pin tool castings combine a 304/316 stainless-steel material direction with investment/lost-wax casting and CNC work. The service includes surface treatment and full inspection. Define the tool's particular geometry and manufacturing route so the cast form and finished dimensions address the same component.
The hinge-pin tool and its interfaces
Select the stainless material requirement for the actual tool design. Its shape, mating areas and required function should establish the dimensions that matter to the finished component. The precision-shape direction can then be considered against a defined tool drawing, with the casting route agreed for that design.
Cast geometry followed by CNC work
CNC machining is part of the manufacturing direction, alongside casting and surface treatment. Identify the areas to be finished by CNC and their relationship to the cast form. Agreeing those areas with the selected route gives the inquiry a specific manufacturing scope for the hinge-pin tool.
The 0.2 mm reference and surface acceptance
A 0.2 mm tolerance reference is available for the casting inquiry. Define the tolerance sign and the drawing dimensions to which it applies. Surface acceptance should address the required condition, including burrs and sand holes, with criteria suited to the selected tool material and geometry.
Inspection against the tool drawing
Inspection covers 100% of the custom hinge-pin tool castings. Agree the material, dimensional and surface checks required for the component's acceptance. Connect those checks to its interfaces and intended function, so the finished casting and CNC work can be assessed against the same defined requirements.
