Custom stainless-steel turbo-housing and exhaust-manifold requests are offered through lost-wax investment casting and OEM/ODM work. Custom color and electric plating, powder coating, sand blasting or lacquer can be discussed for the actual material, surfaces and component duty.
Define the turbo housing or manifold interfaces
Identify the component geometry and the engine or exhaust interfaces that determine its fit. Include the actual operating conditions and acceptance requirements for the requested part. This gives the stainless casting inquiry a specific housing or manifold purpose and a basis for reviewing its material and finish allocation.
Allocate wider metal and processing requests
Broader material directions include zinc, aluminum, copper and steel, with the chosen grade and route agreed for each component. Work directions also include punching, stamping, bending and riveting. Define which operations are relevant to the actual request and keep them separate from the particular lost-wax turbo or manifold geometry.
Match the finish and color to the component duty
Select electric plating, powder coating, sand blasting or lacquer where appropriate to the chosen material and work. Identify the relevant surfaces and the custom color required. Agree treatment acceptance for the actual operating conditions and include the finished condition of any mating areas in the component definition.
Provide geometry and agree the testing discussion
Inputs include 2D/3D, CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF and IGS. Pair those files with the selected material, interfaces, actual work allocation and finish requirements. Define the testing and acceptance needed for the ordered housing or manifold so the OEM/ODM discussion addresses the component and its intended duty.
