Select the pump component and its material
Identify the specific part and the geometry connecting it to the intended pump assembly. Choose the exact stainless or ductile-iron grade and material standard required for the project. The component drawing should describe the interfaces and dimensions needed for that selected part. These details give the casting enquiry a clear material and geometry to address.
Connect the water-glass route to dimensional acceptance
The forming process should be agreed for the chosen material and component geometry. The tolerance reference is ±0.1 mm, with its controlled dimensions and acceptance stage defined for the part. Identify where that requirement applies on the drawing. This makes the signed precision reference useful within the actual manufacturing enquiry.
Define polish and operating acceptance
Polishing is the named surface treatment for the pump-component service. Identify the faces requiring that condition and the surface criteria by which they will be accepted. The intended pump duty and component interfaces should also inform the required functional and inspection acceptance. Bringing the grade, geometry, selected route and polished condition together provides a practical basis for reviewing the OEM/ODM casting for its particular pump assembly.
