Custom OEM/ODM rapid-prototype requests for industrial-equipment components include engineering-plastic vacuum-casting and 3D-printing directions. Select the actual supplied material, component geometry and manufacturing route around the prototype's intended function and finished-condition requirements.

Engineering-plastic material and prototype route

ABS, PA, PC, PPSF, PEEK and EP are material references, with PLA, PETG and PCL as further directions. Identify the actual supplied specification and choose the process appropriate to that component. Investment-casting requests need their actual process confirmed; the material names alone do not assign every direction to one manufacturing route.

Controlled dimensions around the 0.1mm reference

The tolerance reference is 0.1mm, with its sign, controlled dimension, manufacturing stage and measurement basis to agree. Define those details on the actual component drawing before assigning acceptance criteria. This keeps the precision requirement attached to the relevant geometry and selected process.

Micro work and sandblasted condition

Micro machining is a work reference requiring its actual operation and scope to be identified. Sandblasting is a surface-treatment direction whose treated areas and final condition should be selected for the supplied material. Confirm the manufacturing route before including any secondary operation in the accepted prototype work.

Industrial-equipment prototype acceptance

Define the actual equipment interfaces, working duty and required prototype function. Use those requirements to agree dimensional, surface and functional inspection criteria and records for the selected material condition. Quantity and OEM/ODM manufacturing/inspection responsibilities can then be allocated around the same drawing, process and finished-component acceptance.
