Custom OEM automotive part enquiries cover aluminum or zinc-alloy die casting and stainless steel precision casting with CNC machining and deburring. Brass and steel-alloy material enquiries are also available. The component's selected material and geometry determine the forming and machining sequence needed for its finished condition.
Keep each material and deliverable defined
Choose the actual metal grade for the casting enquiry and identify its required component shape. Carbon material requests need an exact composition and form defined for the project. Nylon and plastic components should have their own selected manufacturing route and deliverable. This keeps the broader material menu connected to the particular auto part under review.
Select the machining operations for the geometry
Broaching, drilling, laser machining, milling, turning and wire EDM are the named operation enquiries. Identify which operations the component requires and confirm the exact laser-work scope when it is selected. CNC machining and deburring should be related to the relevant areas and their finished condition. The operation plan can then follow the actual component geometry.
Agree the deburred and dimensional acceptance
Show the final dimensions expected after the required forming and machining work. Define the deburred surface condition and the inspection criteria for the selected faces and interfaces. These requirements should refer to the same material and component revision. Together, the grade, casting route, operation sequence and finished acceptance give the OEM automotive enquiry a clear basis for reviewing the part and its manufacturing scope.
