Custom machinery casting requests combine aluminum and broader steel directions with precision CNC machining. Investment-casting and die-casting routes are selected for the accepted component, with customer drawings, required dimensions, painting and OEM/ODM customization.
From the machinery drawing to CNC work
Identify the supplied metal specification, casting geometry and controlled dimensions on the component drawing. Allocate the casting route and CNC-machined areas to the actual part, including the interfaces that determine its fit in the machinery assembly. This gives the custom-made request a defined material and dimensional scope.
Hardness, wear resistance and painted condition
High hardness and excellent wear resistance are qualitative characteristics for this work. Define the actual material condition, service duty and relevant hardness or wear acceptance methods before treating those characteristics as performance requirements. Painting is a surface-treatment direction; specify the affected areas and required painted condition in relation to the machinery environment.
IATF16949 applicability and finished-part acceptance
IATF16949 is a quality-system reference whose applicable documents, responsible organization/site and work scope need confirmation where required. For the component itself, agree dimensional, surface and functional inspection criteria and the records needed for acceptance. State how the selected casting route, CNC work and painted condition will be assessed against the accepted drawing.
OEM/ODM scope for the chosen metal component
Complete the request with the required quantity and manufacturing responsibilities. Allocate inspection and acceptance duties together with the material, drawing revision, machining and finish so that the OEM/ODM agreement describes the actual machinery part.
