ServiceSupply metal parts solution as per customer's drawings/ samples
Custom miniature-brass lost-wax investment-casting enquiries include broader metal-part solutions to customer drawings or samples. Select the actual material and component before agreeing the manufacturing and accepted finished requirements. The request should define the dimensions and working conditions for the intended part.
Material and component selection
Material references include steel 45, Q235, ss304, ss306, G35, G45, WCB, WCA, WCC and 4140. Identify the actual grade and drawing for the selected component. The CT4–8 casting reference concerns a 304 stainless bearing housing. Agree the actual part and covered dimensional criteria when applying a casting requirement.
Machining stage and roughness
Machining directions include CNC, lathe work, milling, turning, boring and drilling. References include machining up to IT7 and Ra0.8–3.2. Define the dimensions and manufacturing stage covered by the selected criteria. Confirm the roughness unit, assessed surfaces and accepted measurement result for the actual component.
Surface and finished acceptance
Passivation and polishing are surface directions selected to customer requirements. Agree the treatment for the actual metal and identify the areas concerned.
- Defined manufacturing
- Bring the grade, dimensioned drawing or sample and selected casting and machining scope together.
- Accepted result
- Define the component's duty, covered dimensions, required surfaces and inspection criteria for the actual part.
