Custom exhaust-manifold casting inquiries cover aluminum-alloy, carbon-steel and stainless-steel material directions. Investment casting, lost wax and die casting are routes to select for the proposed component. Dimensions are customized, with a ±0.02 mm tolerance reference and a minimum quantity of 100 pieces.
Manifold material and the selected route
Define the actual manifold geometry and the service conditions it must address before choosing the material grade. Agree the casting route for that material and drawing, considering the component's connections and required acceptance. The selected alloy, cast form and operating requirements should describe one manifold inquiry.
Tolerance and roughness requirements
Relate ±0.02 mm to the actual drawing features and their acceptance scope. The roughness reference is Ra 3.2–Ra 6.3, with its exact unit and measurement conditions to be agreed. Establishing those details connects dimensional and surface requirements to the component being evaluated.
Finish selection against the service conditions
Surface directions include chrome plating, powder coating and painting, with an electrophoretic-finish inquiry also requiring definition for the chosen work. Select the treatment for the actual material, surfaces, operating temperature and medium. These choices should be reviewed together so that the requested finish has a clear component and service context.
Inspection scope and the custom order
The custom casting scope includes 100% inspection of the selected components against agreed requirements. Define the material, dimensional, surface and operating checks needed for the manifold proposal, along with its interfaces and intended role. The hundred-piece minimum and custom dimensions then form part of a specific casting inquiry with a defined acceptance basis.
