Custom ductile cast-iron investment parts include CNC center machining, with broader stainless steel, iron/steel and aluminum requests. OEM/ODM customization follows the customer's drawing for size and tolerance requirements, with the final finish to select.

Ductile iron, broader metals and the Grey designation

Identify the supplied material specification and component geometry before allocating the work. Clarify the material or finish meaning of the Grey designation for the actual request, then define the intended finished condition and duty. This establishes which metal and surface requirements belong to the selected part.

Mold, casting and CNC responsibilities

The process direction is mold-casting-CNC machining. Use the accepted drawing to allocate the mold, casting and machined areas, with controlled dimensions and drawing-requested tolerances identified for acceptance. Agree the actual custom finish method and the condition of the completed surfaces.

Software exchange for the component drawing

PRO/E, Auto CAD, Solid Works and UG are software references for the request. Agree the version, exchanged file format and drawing revision so the geometry and dimensional requirements used for the work are clear to the responsible parties.

ISO scope and finished casting agreement

ISO is an unspecified standard reference requiring the applicable document, revision and object or work scope. Agree dimensional, surface and functional inspection criteria and records for the selected component. Complete the OEM/ODM arrangement with quantity and manufacturing/acceptance responsibilities against the material, drawing, CNC work and finish.
