Custom ductile iron casting is offered with GGG45, GJS45 and FCD45 inquiry designations, plus CNC machining, turning, milling and 5-axis processing. Sizes are customized to the component requirement. The grade reference, casting geometry and downstream work can be reviewed together to define the part being requested.
Grade designations for the selected component
Identify the applicable material standard and full grade requirement when using GGG45, GJS45 or FCD45 in an inquiry. Other material choices include grey iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper. Treat the chosen material as a specific decision for the drawing, rather than using several grade names as an assumed equivalence statement.
CT4–CT6 with the drawing requirements
The tolerance references are CT4–CT6, with their application to be agreed for the component. Connect the required casting tolerance grade to the relevant standard and geometry before defining acceptance. This keeps the technical reference useful without converting it into an unsupported millimeter tolerance for every dimension of a custom part.
CNC work and the requested surface
Turning, milling and 5-axis processing provide distinct machining subjects for the part review. Mark the surfaces and dimensions needing that work, then choose the finish for the selected material. Surface options include painting, oxidation, polishing, electrophoresis and electroplating, so the delivered condition can be discussed alongside the casting and machining requirements.
Files and application acceptance
Drawing formats include 2D PDF, DXF and DWG, plus 3D STEP, IGS and PRT. Application directions cover industrial, automotive, agricultural, aviation, construction and electrical parts. Define the component's operating and inspection requirements for its selected use, including any application-specific qualification needed, so the custom casting inquiry remains connected to the actual design and acceptance plan.
