Custom stainless-steel investment casting with machining includes CNC finishing and CT4–CT7 tolerance references. Grade directions include 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 2205 and 2207. Choose the actual grade and component geometry before agreeing the dimensions and accepted manufacturing result.

Casting criteria and CNC details

Define the dimensions covered by the selected CT4–CT7 criteria for the component. Identify the working details needing CNC finishing and their dimensional and surface acceptance. PDF and CAD are 2D drawing formats, while IGES and STEP support 3D geometry. Agree the drawing revision and its relationship to the model and required operations.

Surface treatment and inspection methods

Painting, shot blasting, shot peening, polishing and electroplating are surface-treatment directions. Select the treatment for the actual material and define the areas and accepted condition. Inspection services include spectrometer, ultrasonic and X-ray directions, chemical and mechanical analysis, and NDT. Agree the applicable methods, characteristics and acceptance criteria for the selected part.

Application duty and quality documents

Automotive, railway, marine, food-processing and chemical-processing parts are named application directions. Specify the actual working conditions and component requirements for that use. ISO9001 is the certification reference, with applicable documents and service scope to confirm.
