Custom metal casting requests include aluminum, stainless steel and zinc, with precision machining if needed and surface treatment. Die-casting and lost-wax silica-sol investment-casting directions require selection of the actual route for the component.
Silica-sol, die-casting and drawing allocation
Use 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP drawings to identify the supplied material, geometry and controlled dimensions. Agree the casting route and any machining areas against that drawing, including the surfaces that govern the finished part's interfaces and acceptance.
Phosphating through chemical oxidation
Phosphating, blueing, blackening, anodizing and chemical oxidation are five surface-work directions. Choose the actual treatment and affected areas for the selected material, with the required surface condition and assessment method agreed for the component. Assign each treatment to its intended work scope.
Application directions and component duty
Aerospace, automotive, medical equipment and national-defense/military are application directions. Define the actual part, interfaces and duty, together with any required application approval or acceptance. Clarify the intended use behind the electronic commun designation before including that application in a component requirement.
IATF16949 documents and casting acceptance
IATF16949 is a system reference whose applicable documents, responsible organization/site and work scope need confirmation where required. Agree dimensional, surface and functional inspection criteria and records for the selected casting. Complete the request with quantity and manufacturing responsibilities tied to its material, route, machining and finished condition.
