Custom aluminum casting housings and industrial enclosures are offered with OEM/ODM service and sizes defined by the customer's request. Machining directions include a CNC machining center, boring, milling and grinding, with CMM testing and 100% inspection by engineers.
Make the housing interfaces drive the machining scope
Identify the surfaces and connections that locate the housing in its industrial assembly. Where a bore is important, define its required size and position relative to the other interfaces. Assign boring, milling or grinding requirements to the relevant areas so the machining request follows the finished enclosure geometry.
Allocate material and forming route to the part
Stainless steel, aluminum, brass and bronze form the wider material-request menu. Pressure or gravity casting, forging and extrusion forming are manufacturing directions to agree for the selected component. Keep the actual metal and route attached to the housing definition rather than assuming the same combination for every custom request.
Define the complete finish and inspection requirements
Zinc plating, coating and painting are surface-treatment directions to consider for the chosen material. Identify the covered surfaces, required appearance and final condition at mating areas. The CMM and engineer-inspection discussion should address the dimensions and characteristics used to accept the completed housing.
Link finished condition to assembly fit
A surface that controls assembly needs an agreed final dimensional condition. Include that condition with the appearance requirement when treatment and machining apply to the same area.
Bring the enclosure request into one definition
Combine the selected metal, requested size, manufacturing route and machining areas with the surface and dimensional acceptance criteria. Describe the housing's intended position and connections within the equipment. These inputs give the OEM/ODM order a clear industrial-enclosure scope for review.
