Custom 316L stainless-steel cast-part inquiries combine CNC milling and turning with deburring for industrial-equipment components. OEM/ODM support includes selected surface treatment, with the component geometry and final condition defined around the actual part being developed.
Locate the CNC work on the casting
Identify the cast starting condition and the areas requiring machining on the component drawing. CNC machining centers support the milling and turning direction. Define the dimensions and interfaces used for assembly acceptance so the machining scope follows the industrial-equipment part rather than a general casting name.
Define deburring with the finished geometry
Deburring is part of the processing direction. Specify the required edge condition and the areas to be evaluated alongside the machined dimensions. Keeping those details with the geometry gives the casting, CNC work and deburring one consistent finished-part requirement.
Select the surface for the 316L component
Painting, powder coating, plating and polishing are available finish directions. Choose the required final treatment and state the appearance or surface condition to be accepted. Include any areas where the finish affects the mating geometry, and agree their final dimensions with the rest of the component.
- 2D input
- PDF, CAD, DWG or DXF drawings with dimensions and requirements.
- 3D input
- IGES, STEP or VDA geometry for the selected component.
- Order input
- 316L material, casting/CNC/deburring scope, finish and quantity.
An aluminum casting request should identify its own alloy and processing scope separately from the 316L component. Bring the selected material, drawing and acceptance criteria together so the OEM/ODM discussion concerns the finished industrial part you intend to order.
