Define a stainless steel casting around its selected grade, geometry and finished requirements. Custom 304/316 enquiries include precision casting and CNC machining, with the actual investment/lost-wax or die-casting route agreed for the component.
Select the grade and manufacturing scope
Choose the required 304 or 316 material and provide the shape the part needs to take. Establish the casting route and identify the work to be completed by CNC machining. Keep the material, cast geometry and finished dimensions connected to the same component definition.
Give the 0.2 mm requirement a feature definition
A 0.2 mm tolerance reference accompanies the service. Identify the dimensions it applies to and agree the relevant tolerance convention and measurement acceptance. Set the casting and finished-feature criteria for the actual part so the precision discussion addresses the geometry being requested.
Agree color and surface appearance
Define the required color and finished-surface condition for the component. Burr and sand-hole acceptance should be part of the appearance agreement, with any additional surface wording clarified before manufacture. Connect those criteria to the selected material, the cast areas and the surfaces requiring CNC work.
Connect inspection with finished-part acceptance
The stainless precision casting service offers 100% inspection. Agree the dimensional and appearance checks and any records needed for the component. A clear grade, route and surface agreement allows those checks to address the same finished-part requirements described in the manufacturing enquiry.
