Custom 316L and 304 stainless steel precision investment castings support OEM/ODM component enquiries with machining when required. The size range is 2–620 mm and the tolerance reference is 0.02 mm. Define which component dimensions those references govern and the finished condition required for the selected part.
Select the grade and dimensions for the actual component
316L and 304 are the primary stainless grade choices, with carbon steel, alloy steel, bronze, brass and aluminum as additional material enquiries. Machinery, automotive and medical-equipment components are the application contexts. Specify the exact grade and geometry, and agree the dimension covered by the size range alongside the tolerance convention and acceptance stage.
Choose the machining operations needed after casting
Machining options include drilling, reaming, tapping, CNC turning and milling, and wire EDM. Identify the operations required by the component rather than assuming the entire machining menu forms one sequence. Mark the dimensions and interfaces that need a machined condition, allowing the optional processing to be reviewed against the finished part requirements.
Match the finish and qualification to the selected material
Surface choices include E-coating, polishing, sand blasting, powder coating and zinc-based treatment or galvanizing. Select a compatible treatment and identify the surfaces and final condition required for the actual material. ISO9001:2015 certification supports qualification review; confirm the current scope and any component-use acceptance documents needed by the order. Keep that review specific to the chosen grade, operations and finished component so that the machinery, automotive or medical-equipment enquiry has a defined acceptance basis.
