Non-standard 304 stainless-steel precision castings use the silica-sol lost-wax route with OEM/ODM customization. Material follows the actual requirement; machining is included if needed, followed by customer-defined surface treatment. A 0.01–0.05 mm tolerance reference, small-order acceptance and material-report provision are practical parts of this custom-casting scope.
304 and the actual non-standard part
Define the selected 304 material requirement and the geometry of the component. Connect the OEM/ODM task to its important interfaces and intended function. Where a different material is required, establish that actual designation with the component definition so the custom material and casting request remain aligned.
0.01–0.05 mm and optional machining
Identify the dimensions to which the tolerance reference applies and agree the process stage and measurement basis. Machining is selected where the actual part needs it. Link the cast and any machined areas to the final fit requirements, so the reference is assessed against specific dimensions and an agreed finished condition.
Customer surface treatment and acceptance
Specify the required treatment and the surfaces receiving it for the selected component. Agree the visual and dimensional acceptance after the requested work. The surface requirements should remain connected to the chosen material, geometry and any machined interfaces.
Small orders with material traceability
Small orders are accepted, and material reports are provided for traceability. Agree the actual order quantity, production allocation and report content for the requested grade and component. Include the dimensional and finished-surface acceptance with those requirements, establishing what the supplied part and its material documentation need to demonstrate.
