Water-pump impellers are produced by investment casting with machining and polishing, with stainless-steel, aluminum, iron and alloy material directions. OEM/ODM customization follows client specification and customer drawings. Tolerance is 0.02 mm or as required, and the minimum order is one piece, with polishing and mirror-polishing surface choices.
Impeller geometry and the actual water duty
Define the impeller and its pump/shaft interfaces for the intended system. Identify the water duty and rotational requirements relevant to that actual component. Agree any required balance or performance acceptance, connecting those criteria to the selected material and geometry. The defined duty establishes what the custom impeller needs to meet in its particular use.
0.02 mm or customer-required dimensions
Identify the dimensions governed by the tolerance reference and agree the manufacturing stage to which it applies. Define the required measurement basis and acceptance for those controlled areas. Relate the casting and machining work to the actual pump interfaces, establishing the finished fit requested under the client specification.
Polishing and mirror-finished surfaces
Select the actual material designation and identify the areas requiring the chosen polish. Define the appearance and surface condition needed on the impeller. Agree the dimensional and visual criteria after finishing, relating those requirements to the machined interfaces and actual geometry supplied for the water-pump component.
Customer drawing and component acceptance
Use the drawing to define the selected impeller, material and important dimensions. Include the required machining areas, polished condition and actual duty criteria. Agree the inspection acceptance for those requirements, connecting the client specification to evaluation of the supplied OEM/ODM casting and its finished pump/shaft interfaces.
