Custom multiway valve bodies are offered in SS304 or SS316 through stainless steel silica sol investment casting with machining and polishing. They are intended for food and chemical industrial equipment component enquiries. Casting tolerance is referenced at CT4–9, with the actual body geometry, interfaces and required finished condition defined for the valve assembly.
Define the body and operating context
Provide the selected grade and the drawing identifying the multiway body geometry and connections. Describe the operating media and requirements relevant to the food or chemical equipment application. The component specification should connect these conditions with dimensional and application acceptance so the casting enquiry addresses the actual valve-body function.
Coordinate machining, surfaces and casting limits
Machining and polishing are included in the process scope, with polishing, plating and powder coating as surface options. Mark the controlled casting dimensions associated with CT4–9 and the areas requiring subsequent processing. State the required surface condition for the relevant faces so the body can be reviewed against its condition after machining or treatment.
Separate sample inspection and production acceptance
Valve-body samples receive strict 100% inspection, with the inspected characteristics and acceptance criteria to be agreed. Define the production inspection plan separately for the intended component and application. Include the required checks and documentation with the grade, drawing and surface requirements. This provides a basis for reviewing sample acceptance and the subsequent production scope for the custom stainless valve body.
