Keywordvacuum casting machining services
Small-production rapid prototypes are offered through silicone-molding and rubber/urethane vacuum-casting directions. This non-CNC prototype request supports customized color, selected surface treatments and OEM work, with a minimum order of one piece.
Decide what the prototype needs to establish
Identify the geometry and the characteristics that the prototype must demonstrate for its intended project. Car, household appliance, furniture, commodity and electronic applications are directions for custom requests. State which dimensions, assembly relationships or appearance details will determine whether the prototype meets that purpose.
Choose color and surface treatment together
Polishing, painting, silk printing, UV coating and electroplating are treatment choices to consider for the actual material. Describe the custom color and the areas that receive each finish. This gives the prototype's appearance a defined scope alongside the dimensional acceptance requirements.
Allocate material and secondary-work requests
Agree the actual rubber, urethane or other selected prototype material and its manufacturing route. The wider request menu includes other plastics and metals, each needing its own appropriate process definition. Any requested drilling, milling, turning, chemical or laser work, broaching, wire EDM or micro-feature processing should have a separate agreed scope within the overall request.
Prepare a defined one-piece order
Geometry inputs include CAD, IGS, STP, STL and X-T. The dimensional tolerance direction is ±0.1 mm, with the relevant dimensions and acceptance method to be agreed for the prototype. Pair the files with the selected material, custom color, treatment areas and the result expected from the prototype.
- Identify the geometry and acceptance purpose.
- Choose material, color and finish for the actual prototype.
- Agree the scope of any separately requested secondary work.
