Precision steel forklift-part work uses lost-wax investment casting and CNC machining, with quench-and-temper treatment, shot blasting and assembly. The selected component and its intended forklift role define the geometry and material acceptance to be agreed. Manufacturing and inspection capabilities can then be connected to that particular part.

Steel grade and forklift component

ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS are standard-family references for the inquiry. Select the applicable numbered requirement and steel grade for the forklift component. Identify its cast geometry and machined interfaces so the material and dimensional acceptance follow the actual part needed by the assembly.

Heat treatment and delivered processing

Quenching and tempering capability uses two mesh-belt furnaces. Shot blasting and assembly are additional processing directions for the component. Agree the required heat-treated condition and the shot-blast/assembly scope with the selected steel and geometry, keeping the delivered condition attached to the forklift-part requirements.

Machining facilities and operation scope

Facilities include 50+ machining centers and 80+ CNC machines. Define the operations and component dimensions requiring CNC work for the requested casting. The machining scope can then be reviewed against the selected design and its interfaces, alongside the material and delivered-condition acceptance.

Methods and actual inspection coverage

Inspection capabilities include MT, UT, RT and CMM, with 100% visual and 100% gage inspection. Agree the methods, relevant component areas and pass criteria needed for the actual forklift part. That inspection plan can connect the material condition, casting and machined dimensions with the component's intended role and acceptance.
