Solid jewelry injection wax supports pattern preparation for the lost-wax casting process. The wax has crude refinement and 0.5% oil content, with pink, yellow, blue and green color enquiries to consider for the selected jewelry formulation.
Choose the color and formulation for the pattern
Identify the required color and the jewelry detail that the wax pattern must reproduce. Confirm the chosen formulation with the mold and intended injection process rather than selecting by appearance alone. Solid form and crude refinement describe the material being evaluated, while the actual pattern geometry and dimensional requirements define the trial target. Keep the selected color and formulation identified when reviewing that result.
Agree the material-property measurement basis
The oil-content value is 0.5%. Crystalline index 50 and the deoiling designation 0.5 also need their measurement basis and units agreed when comparing formulations. Define which material properties matter to the jewelry process and review the relevant technical instructions for those requirements. Keep the oil percentage separate from the deoiling designation so that the two values are interpreted on their own stated bases.
Establish temperature and casting conditions through a trial
Agree the melting point in a specified temperature unit before setting up wax injection. Use the applicable processing instructions to establish working temperature and injection conditions for the selected mold. Review the resulting pattern against its geometry, detail and dimensional acceptance, and confirm burnout behavior for the chosen jewelry casting cycle. This links the material choice to an actual pattern trial before the process settings are accepted.
