Custom stainless steel pump housings and impellers are available through OEM/ODM lost wax investment casting with CNC machining. Select 304, 304L, 316 or 316L for the required component and define its size from the design. Housing and impeller enquiries need their own geometry, interfaces and service requirements assessed.

Distinguish the housing requirement from the impeller design

Specify which pump component is required and identify the chosen stainless steel grade on its drawing. Mark the dimensions and mating surfaces that control its installation in the pump. This keeps the casting enquiry focused on the actual housing or impeller, with its intended pump duty forming part of the selection review.

Assign casting, machining and roughness requirements separately

The casting-tolerance range is CT4–CT6, surface roughness is Ra 3.2–6.3 μm, and the machining-precision reference is 0.01 mm. These describe different requirements for the part. Identify the dimensions and surfaces governed by each reference, then agree how the cast and CNC-machined conditions will be accepted for the component.

Select the surface treatment and qualification scope

Passivation, brush polishing and mirror polishing are the available surface treatments. Choose the required condition for the relevant housing or impeller surfaces alongside the dimensional requirements. ISO9001 certification and TUV ISO, SGS and OHSAS qualification documentation can form part of the order review; confirm the current object and scope needed. Aligning those choices with the component drawing provides a defined enquiry without assuming that a general casting reference establishes the pump's operating performance.
