    Casting Tolerance
    VDG P690 D2

OEM stainless-steel investment-casting services include machining, with dimensions defined by customer drawings or samples. VDG P690 D2 is the casting-tolerance reference. The selected grade, geometry and finished interfaces establish the component and the acceptance required for the actual OEM task.

VDG P690 D2 within the casting request

Identify the cast dimensions governed by the tolerance reference and agree the applicable requirements for the part. Define the measurement and inspection basis for those areas. Connect the casting acceptance to the component geometry and the final interfaces needed for its intended fit, keeping the reference within a specific part definition.

Stainless grade and drawing or sample input

Select the actual stainless-steel designation for the requested component. Use the customer drawing or sample to define its geometry, important dimensions and intended function. Relate the material and size requirements to the operating conditions and finished-part acceptance, establishing which casting and machining work the OEM request needs to address.

Machining and finished-interface acceptance

Define the actual cast-part areas receiving the requested machining and the surface condition required for their function. Agree their finished dimensions and how those interfaces will be inspected. Include the selected stainless grade, cast-dimensional reference and component duty with that work scope. Together they provide an OEM investment-casting request whose material, geometry and finished acceptance describe the part needed for the actual use.
