Custom alloy castings cover magnesium investment-casting and aluminum die-casting directions for motor and machinery parts. Aluminum, zinc and magnesium alloys provide material choices within an OEM/ODM service. Select the actual alloy and processing route together so the component's material, geometry and finishing requirements form a coherent request.
Match the alloy with its casting and machining route
Investment casting followed by machining and polishing is a processing direction, alongside the aluminum die-casting direction. Specify which route is required for the chosen alloy rather than combining every process into a single mandatory sequence. Define any machined areas and the finished dimensional requirements for the particular motor or machinery component.
Select an applicable finish for the alloy
Surface-treatment choices include powder coating, polishing, zinc plating, electroplating and sandblasting. Choose the applicable treatment for the selected material and identify the surfaces it covers. Agree the appearance and dimensional acceptance after treatment so a finish name alone does not substitute for a finished-part requirement.
Set component acceptance for its intended use
Application directions include machinery, industrial equipment, automotive parts and medical components. Custom alloy parts receive 100% inspection, with the actual dimensional and surface criteria to be agreed for the selected component. For medical or other regulated uses, establish the part-specific service and approval requirements separately. The intended use, chosen alloy, route and inspection criteria together determine the component request.
