Custom carbon-steel machinery parts use precision lost-wax investment casting with the silica-sol process. Low- and medium-carbon steel directions are available, with OEM/ODM drawing/sample customization and non-standard parts. Material and size requirements are customizable, with machining and surface work selected for the actual component.
Low- or medium-carbon steel for the machinery task
Choose the actual material designation and define the component geometry. Applications include agricultural, general and construction machinery. Identify the intended function and important interfaces for that actual use, relating material and dimensional requirements to the non-standard cast part being supplied for the selected machinery application.
CNC machining and tolerance requirements
Services include CNC machining, turning, milling, drilling, tapping and grinding. Assign the relevant operations to the actual areas of the casting and define their finished dimensions. High-precision tolerance and ISO standard are references whose applicable requirements need agreement. Establish the controlled dimensions, measurement basis and acceptance for those cast and machined areas.
Five named surface-treatment directions
Choices include blasting, polishing, black oxide, zinc plating and anti-rust oil, with customized treatment. Select the direction appropriate to the actual steel and required supplied condition. Define its areas and the visual and dimensional acceptance after the chosen work, relating surface requirements to important machined interfaces and the component's intended duty.
Drawing or sample and final acceptance
Customer drawings or samples define the custom part request. Include the selected steel, geometry, machining scope and required surface condition. Agree the actual inspections needed to evaluate those requirements, connecting the non-standard component definition and tolerance basis to its finished acceptance within the OEM/ODM manufacturing task.
