High-strength precision machinery-component enquiries include silica-sol investment casting with OEM and ODM service. Select the actual material grade and component drawing, then define the mechanical and finished requirements. The manufacturing request should refer to the specific machinery part and its operating conditions.
Material and application requirements
Material directions include alloy cast steel, carbon cast steel, ductile or nodular iron, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, zinc alloy, magnesium alloy and gray iron. Agricultural, engineering-machinery and automobile parts are named applications. Identify the actual grade and geometry for the chosen use. Agree the required mechanical acceptance for that material and component.
Selected machining and surface result
Casting with machining if needed and surface treatment is offered. Define the details requiring subsequent machining and their dimensional acceptance. Polishing, sand blasting, color anodizing and plating are finish directions. Select the treatment for the actual metal and define the areas and accepted surface result.
Inspection methods and component criteria
MT, UT, RT and CMM are inspection directions. Agree the applicable methods, coverage and criteria for the selected part. Bring the drawing dimensions, mechanical requirements and required surfaces together so that inspection refers to the accepted component.
Governing standard and document scope
ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF, AS and AAR are standard-system references. Identify the governing document and grade for the enquiry. Agree the applicable material and certification documents with their actual scope, together with the selected manufacturing, finish and inspection requirements.
