OEM/ODM custom metal parts are offered with investment casting, machining and polishing. Material and colour follow customer requirements. Sand casting, centrifugal casting and lost-wax or die-casting enquiries provide additional route choices, with the actual manufacturing definition selected for the component's alloy, geometry and acceptance requirements.
Choose a clear casting route for the part
Specify the required metal grade and the component geometry before choosing the process. For a lost-wax or die-casting enquiry, agree the intended manufacturing route and how any lost-wax step relates to the part. Compare the sand or centrifugal option against the same component definition when those routes are under consideration.
Define precision at casting and machining stages
Identify the cast dimensions and the areas needing machining on the part drawing. State the tolerances, datums and measurement criteria required at each relevant stage. For OEM or ODM development, distinguish fixed functional dimensions from requirements still being agreed so the precision review has measurable acceptance criteria.
Connect polishing and colour to finished acceptance
Polishing is included in the processing scope, with colour defined to customer requirements. Mark the surfaces involved and describe the required appearance or functional outcome. Agree the surface and finished dimensional acceptance together so the proposed casting and machining work addresses a consistent component specification.
State industrial, automotive, agricultural or pump duty
Applications include industrial parts, automotive parts, agricultural machinery and pumps. Specify the actual part's operating conditions and interfaces for the chosen use. For a pump component, include the relevant fluid and operating acceptance with its drawing so the custom metal proposal can be reviewed for that particular duty.
