Custom casting enquiries include aluminum, iron, stainless steel and copper, with high-carbon steel and copper-alloy directions. OEM and ODM specifications follow customer drawings or samples. Choose the actual grade and casting route for the part, then define the required machined and finished geometry.
Casting and CNC operation selection
Precision, lost-wax and investment casting are process directions alongside die-casting enquiries. Match the selected process to the material and component drawing. Machining capabilities include CNC machining centers, CNC milling and CNC turning. Identify the working details requiring those operations and the accepted dimensional and surface result.
Casting and machining criteria
The dimensional references have different casting and machining roles. Agree the applicable dimensions, manufacturing stage and governing document for the requested part.
- Casting references
- IT5–IT7 and CT5–7 are the casting directions. Define their application to the component geometry.
- Machining references
- +/-0.005mm, ISO2768-f and ISO-mk are machining references. Confirm the actual document identity and covered details for the accepted result.
Surface and applicable document scope
Finishes are to request, with polishing, shot blasting and glass-bead sand blasting as surface directions. Select the treated areas and accepted condition for the actual metal. Standard systems include DIN, AISI, SAE, ASTM, UNS, GOST, ISO, BS, EN and JIS. ISO9001, TS16949, ISO1400 and RoHS Finish are document references with their identity and applicable scope to confirm. Agree those requirements together with the material, drawing, duty and inspection criteria for the custom component.
