OEM/ODM investment-casting component directions include cast iron, stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, bronze, brass and aluminum. Size references are 2–620mm, with P690-D1 and 0.02mm tolerance references. The actual dimension objects, controlled areas and manufacturing scope determine how those requirements apply to the supplied component.
Material choice and actual component use
Applications include machinery parts, auto parts and medical equipment. Select the actual material designation and component geometry needed for the intended duty. Agree the supplied condition and any required qualification for that use, connecting the chosen casting and machining scope to the part's interfaces and acceptance requirements.
2–620mm size and P690-D1/0.02mm requirements
Define which physical dimensions the size range describes and which requirements govern the selected geometry. Establish the actual meaning and dimensional scope of the tolerance references. Relate the controlled cast and machined areas to their measurement basis, agreeing the acceptance needed for the particular component and manufacturing stages.
Drilling, reaming, tapping, CNC and wire EDM
Machining choices include drilling, reaming, tapping, CNC turning/milling and wire EDM. Identify the actual operations and areas needed after casting. Connect their finished dimensions to the selected material and component geometry, defining the interfaces and measurement acceptance required for the supplied part.
Six surface directions for the selected material
Surface choices are e-coating, zinc treatment, polishing, sandblasting, galvanizing and powder coating. Define the actual treatment and areas included in the request. Agree the dimensional and supplied-surface acceptance after the selected work, relating those conditions to the cast and machined interfaces of the OEM/ODM component.
