Custom OEM/ODM work includes aluminum mould development, die casting and CNC machining, alongside stainless-steel and wider metal-machining requests. Wire EDM, rapid prototyping and 100% inspection are part of the service direction for a component defined around your material and geometry.
Distinguish the casting from the machining brief
Identify whether the request concerns an aluminum casting, machining of an existing blank or a combined supply scope. Set out the mould and casting requirement separately from the areas that need CNC finishing. For stainless-steel work, define the selected grade and starting component so the machining request follows the actual material being processed.
Put wire EDM and other operations in context
Wire EDM can be discussed together with milling, turning, drilling, broaching and other machining methods. The wider capability range also includes etching or chemical machining, laser machining and micro-machining. Locate the required operations on the component geometry rather than requesting every method as an undefined package.
Use a sample to define the finished requirement
For a sample or rapid-prototype inquiry, establish the material, geometry and final condition that need to be evaluated. Agree which dimensions and surfaces represent the intended part. This gives the sample a useful role in component acceptance and keeps later machining or casting discussions aligned with the same requirement.
Inspection follows the selected component
Quality control includes 100% inspection. Define the dimensions, tolerances and finished-surface criteria against which the actual part will be checked. Material requests can extend beyond aluminum and stainless steel to brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals and steel alloys; each needs its selected grade and processing scope agreed with the drawing.
Combine the component drawing, starting material, casting or machining scope and quantity in the OEM/ODM brief. Those details give the manufacturing request a clear basis for acceptance.
