Custom OEM sand casting includes copper, stainless-steel, brass, gray-iron and A356-aluminum material directions. Casting combines deburring, drilling and threading for the actual component request. Size follows the customer's 3D drawing, while tolerances follow the drawing request and applicable standards follow the client specification.
Define the material and three-dimensional geometry
Select the actual metal and grade for the sand-cast part and identify the geometry described by the customer 3D drawing. Establish the dimensions that govern acceptance and agree the relevant client-standard requirements. Keep the selected material, part geometry and drawing scope connected when setting the OEM manufacturing definition.
Allocate deburring, drilling and threading
Define which areas need deburring and which features require drilling or threading after casting. Relate those operations to the controlled drawing dimensions and the condition required for the supplied part. Agree the feature and dimensional acceptance for the selected geometry so that the casting and subsequent work address the same component requirements.
Coordinate custom color with full inspection
Surface treatment can follow customer requirements, and color can be customized for the request. Identify the treated areas and color target needed for the actual material. The OEM sand-casting work receives 100% inspection; agree its dimensional and surface criteria with the drawing, client specification and selected operations. Keep the surface and color acceptance associated with the finished component being supplied.
