Our ServiceCustom Make Metal Casting Service
Precision foundry services support large and small custom-sized stainless steel investment and lost-wax castings. Material directions include 304, 316 and 316L, with a steel-casting alternative. CNC machining and selected surface treatments allow the request to be defined around the actual cast component and its finished requirements.
Turn relative size into component dimensions
Large and small describe the sizing directions of this service. Define the actual dimensions and geometry required for the part, then identify its steel grade. The custom-size discussion should establish the component being considered rather than relying on a relative size description alone.
Stainless casting CT4–8 and machining IT7
CT4–8 is the tolerance reference for stainless steel casting. Machining references are up to IT7 and Ra0.8–3.2 according to the component requirements. Identify the cast dimensions and the machined characteristics separately, and agree the roughness units and acceptance criteria for the surfaces concerned.
Operations and requested finish
Available machining directions cover CNC work, lathe work or turning, milling, boring and drilling. Assign the necessary operations to the component's actual geometry. Galvanizing, passivation and polishing are finish choices; select the compatible treatment for the grade and define the areas and finished condition it must address.
A complete request for a large or small casting therefore identifies the real dimensions, grade, controlled cast and machined characteristics, required operations and selected finish. Those details connect the foundry and CNC discussion to the acceptance basis for the proposed stainless steel part.
