    Customer's Drawing Request

Custom gray iron casting and machining serves auto machinery enquiries, including ASTM A48 Class 35 and Class 40 directions. OEM and ODM service covers requests from prototype to mass production. Sand casting is the stated process, with sizes and tolerances defined by the customer's component drawing.

Gray iron or a separate ductile iron request

Gray iron and ductile iron are available material directions. Select the required material and grade for the actual auto machinery part. The ASTM A48 Class 35 and 40 references belong to the gray iron enquiry; a ductile iron request needs its own agreed grade and applicable standard. Provide the relevant drawing and intended working conditions for that selection.

Drawing and machining definition

Customized dimensions and drawing-based tolerances form the acceptance basis. Identify the dimensions and surfaces requiring machining, then agree the selected operations for the component. These are part-specific requirements rather than one numerical tolerance for every casting. Define the accepted result for the cast geometry and any subsequent working details.

Prototype and production acceptance

Quality control states 100% inspection under an ISO9001 system, with ISO9001 as the certification reference. Agree the inspection criteria and applicable documents for the requested stage of work.

Prototype enquiry
Define the material, drawing revision and features to accept for the requested prototype.
Mass-production enquiry
