Fully refined composite synthetic wax is offered in solid bead, granule or pellet form for jewelry lost-wax investment casting. The material has technical references for injection temperature, ash content and shrinkage that can be assigned to the selected formulation and pattern process.
Injection range and melting-point meaning
The injection-temperature reference is 68–74°C (154–165°F). Connect that range to the actual injector, mold and wax formulation required for the jewelry pattern. A separate melting-point reference is 65–75, with its measurement unit to be confirmed before it is used to set the process. Agree the intended wax function and handling conditions for the selected material.
Ash below 0.003% and shrinkage below 1%
The quantitative ash-content reference is below 0.003%, and the shrinkage-rate reference is below 1%. Use those figures when defining the required burnout and dimensional acceptance for the pattern. Agree the applicable measurement and process conditions so the material discussion addresses the actual injection and burnout task, with the numerical ash threshold clearly defined.
Four colors for the selected formulation
Color directions include Aqua Blue, Emerald Green, Turbo Red and Pink. Select the required color alongside the wax formulation and bead/granule/pellet form. Injector and mold fit should be considered with the intended pattern geometry and finished acceptance so that the color choice remains connected to the actual material requirement.
24-month shelf-life reference and storage
The shelf-life reference is 24 months with storage in a cool, dry place. Match the material's storage and handling arrangements to the intended use before agreeing the required pattern process. The selected formulation, color and operating conditions provide the basis for assessing the wax for the jewelry-casting task.
