Custom pump and valve accessories combine lost-wax investment casting with CNC precision machining for machinery and industrial parts. Stainless choices include 304, 316, 310 and 1.4301, while carbon steel is a separate material selection for the component.

Select the alloy for the pump or valve duty

Start with the actual fluid, temperature and mechanical requirements of the accessory. Choose the alloy grade against that duty and the component drawing, keeping material selection connected to the intended pump or valve assembly. The casting enquiry should identify the mating geometry and any requirements that depend on the operating environment. Agree any necessary pressure or leak-test acceptance specifically for the project.

Carry casting dimensions into the CNC and surface plan

CT4–CT6 is the casting-tolerance range for reviewing the initial component requirements. Define the final CNC dimensions and interfaces separately where the accessory must fit another part. Sand blasting and polishing are the available surface treatments; identify which areas receive each finish and how the final surface will be accepted. Keep those surface decisions with the critical dimensions so that finishing and fit are considered together.

Define acceptance within the inspection scope

The pump and valve casting service includes 100% inspection, with ISO9001:2015 quality-management certification scope. Agree the characteristics and inspection methods for the selected accessory, including the critical CNC interfaces and finished surfaces. Confirm the relevant certificate scope and the records required to review the component. A complete enquiry connects the chosen grade, operating duty, drawing tolerances and inspection acceptance, allowing the custom casting to be assessed against its actual role in the assembly.
