Custom stainless steel investment casting can be planned with machining when needed and a surface treatment to the customer's demand. This OEM/ODM service uses the actual component drawing to define the work. Choose the stainless steel grade and finished requirements before setting the casting and optional machining scope.
Allocate the precision requirement
The tolerance reference is 0.01-0.05mm. Agree the dimensions, process stage and inspection criteria to which the required range applies. Distinguish the acceptance of the casting from any dimensions that need machining so the numerical requirement describes the actual finished component.
Prepare the drawing input
Drawing directions include 2D/3D CAD with DWG, STEP, PDF and IGS formats. Identify the component geometry and controlled dimensions in the files used for the request. Keep the selected grade and surface requirements with those files to define the same part throughout the manufacturing discussion.
- Casting scope
- Stainless steel investment casting to the agreed component requirements.
- Further work
- Machining if needed and a surface treatment selected for the customer's demand.
Set full-inspection acceptance
Strictly 100% inspection is offered for the stainless steel custom parts. Define the checked characteristics and acceptance for the agreed drawing and surface condition. ISO9001:2015 is a certification reference with scope to confirm. Provide those criteria with the drawing, actual grade and optional-work requirements to establish the foundry request and the acceptance expected for the completed component.
