TechnologyInvestment Casting/Lost Wax Casting
Custom stainless steel investment casting includes SS304 and SS316 directions through precision silica-sol and lost-wax casting. Carbon steel is another material option. Custom sizing, OEM support and sample supply allow the selected casting to be discussed around a particular component and its working conditions.
Grade selection for the working medium
Oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance are qualitative material considerations for this service. Match the actual grade to the working medium and temperature cycle, then agree the resistance requirements for the intended component. These requirements give the selection discussion a practical service context without assuming one grade suits every environment.
Passivation and the required surface
Passivation is an available surface direction. Define the selected material, required surface condition and the surfaces to be evaluated together, so that the proposed treatment can be considered alongside the component's operating environment. Custom size requirements should also identify the geometry that the casting must reproduce.
Samples, durability and inspection acceptance
Samples are provided and OEM work is available. Use the sample discussion to establish dimensional, surface and service-related acceptance criteria for the chosen casting. The service includes 100% inspection and a qualitative durability claim; the actual durability requirements should be defined through the intended conditions and evaluation scope.
For a focused request, identify whether the part requires SS304, SS316 or the carbon-steel alternative, then describe its size, medium, thermal cycle and passivated surface expectations. This keeps material selection, sample review and inspection connected to the same component.
