Custom precision mechanical hardware is offered in stainless steel or iron through investment casting and lost wax casting. Machining can be included when needed, followed by surface treatment, with OEM/ODM requests and custom logos accepted for the component project.
Stainless steel or iron for the hardware
Start the mechanical hardware requirement by choosing the actual metal and defining the part geometry. Stainless steel and iron are alternative material directions, so the enquiry should identify the intended grade as well as the dimensions. A clear component definition also gives the optional machining discussion a specific purpose within the custom casting work.
Machining and surface requirements by part
The manufacturing direction combines casting with machining if the component needs it and a selected surface treatment. Mark the dimensions requiring further processing and describe the desired condition of the finished surfaces. Numerical tolerances and the exact treatment should form part of the agreed hardware requirement, so the finished design and its acceptance criteria can be reviewed together.
OEM/ODM identity and inspection
Custom logo requests can accompany an OEM or ODM mechanical hardware enquiry. The cast components undergo 100% inspection, with the points of dimensional and surface acceptance to be established for the particular design. If ISO9001, TS16949 or RoHS documentation matters to the project, confirm the relevant document's scope and object while defining that inspection and customization requirement.
