OEM and ODM custom investment casting uses the lost wax process, with material and application selected to the customer's requirements. Stainless steel, brass and aluminum/bronze enquiries form part of the material review, alongside 100% testing and ISO9001 quality-system scope.

Resolve the exact material requirement

Identify the grade requested for the component before defining the final casting plan. For an aluminum/bronze enquiry, establish whether the request concerns an aluminum alloy, a bronze grade or an aluminum-bronze alloy. Bring the exact material specification together with the intended component geometry so the review addresses one selected design.

Connect geometry to the intended use

Define the dimensions and interfaces that govern fit and function for the actual application. Describe the operating duty and any material or finished-part acceptance required by that use. Agree additional processing where the component needs it, together with the final surface and dimensional criteria for the chosen design.

Specify the objects of full testing

Customer-defined stainless, brass and aluminum/bronze casting work includes 100% testing. Agree the methods, characteristics and records appropriate to the selected material and component. Keep the test criteria connected to the geometry, interfaces and duty that the finished part must meet, so the testing plan can be assessed against its actual requirements.

Match the quality scope to the project

Review the applicable ISO9001 quality-system scope alongside the custom-part requirements. Align the material specification, casting acceptance and any processing requirements with the final inspection plan. The OEM/ODM approval should resolve the actual component and its acceptance criteria before the manufacturing arrangement is finalized.
