Tailored metal casting enquiries include aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, stainless steel, iron and other alloy directions, with steel also identified. Investment casting and die casting are available process directions. Select the actual grade and manufacturing route for the required component before defining its finished dimensions and surface condition.

Choose the part and casting route

OEM customization follows the component requirements rather than a fixed part geometry. Use the drawing to identify the material and the actual casting process proposed for that part. Keep those decisions together when comparing the manufacturing scope for the intended component.

Set drawing-based dimensional criteria

Tolerances follow the drawing. Identify the controlled dimensions and the acceptance needed for the completed casting, including the process stage at which they are assessed. A drawing-based tolerance request gives the precision discussion a defined component requirement without assuming a universal numerical value.

Select the surface treatment

Painting, anodizing, powder coating and electrophoresis are treatment directions. Agree the required treatment for the actual material and define the finished surface to be accepted. Coordinate that surface requirement with the drawing dimensions so the proposed part has one consistent set of finished criteria.

Prepare the final inspection scope

100% inspection is offered before dispatch of the custom casting work. Establish the characteristics checked and the records needed against the drawing and surface requirements. Provide the grade, route, dimensions, selected finish and inspection criteria together to define the tailored manufacturing enquiry and the acceptance expected for the actual component.
