Custom aluminum gearbox-housing inquiries combine precision casting, machining when needed and anodizing within an OEM/ODM scope. Dimensions and colors are customizable, with a minimum order of one piece. The actual housing geometry and intended assembly define the material, dimensional and delivered-condition requirements to be reviewed.
Housing design and material direction
Aluminum alloy, zinc alloy and copper are material directions for the broader custom work. Die-cast auto/machine spare parts are another application scope to define for the selected component. Choose the actual material and route, then identify the gearbox-housing interfaces and any dimensions that need subsequent machining.
The 0.01 tolerance reference
A tolerance reference of 0.01 is available, with its unit, feature and measurement convention to be agreed. Connect that definition to the actual drawing dimension and the assembly's mating requirements. The precision discussion then has a selected measurement basis for the particular housing being requested.
Anodizing, color and one-piece customization
Anodizing is the surface-treatment direction, with custom colors available. PDF and CAD are 2D drawing choices, while IGES and STEP provide 3D inputs. Use the selected design to define the component, required surface and dimensions for the one-piece minimum-order inquiry.
Low-altitude aircraft-engine inquiry scope
For a low-altitude aircraft-engine-part request, define the intended component function and applicable material, dimensional and conformity acceptance. Identify the exact assembly and interfaces to which that requirement applies. This keeps the custom casting discussion connected to the particular application and the criteria needed to assess the requested part.
